1:01 am	Wow! I went all of 2008 without updating, apparently. I am 3/5ths of the way through becoming a teacher (with an M.Ed, at that!) I'm a little nervous- tomorrow I am going to meet the new teacher I will be working with (in 3rd grade). Art methods class (today): We were each given a walnut (mine: "Walt"), told to keep it with us at all times, and that we had seven Journal assignments to complete with it. Prompt 6: "Draw your walnut participating in a social event with other nuts." Did I mention that I love grad school yet? Other than that... more school, bunny and kitty are cute and good, weather is nice and sunny for laying out, Niki and I have been kicking hours of step-mill ass at the gym, and Ernie and I are going to D-Land (yes, again..) and eating at Blue Bayou (<3<3<3) Sat. for our 6 year anniversary! I should get go to sleep... have to wake up and get all profeshed out and curl the hair... oh but eff it I took a nap so now I'm not sleepy! Current Music: 10 news (2 Comments |Comment on this)

12:30 am	DANZIG Was awesome. Free otherwise $40/each tickets are cool, so are 21+ shows because no one shows up. I have never been to a show before where I was in the front row and didn't get shoved once. The best part was Doyle comming back out at the end, forming a psuedo-MISFITS reunion. All and all I am completely deaf and a little disoriented (poor semicircular canals), but it was well worth it. I guess I should remember to have fun once in a while, stop worying so much about how busy I am and enjoy life more often.. 11:44 am	i remember shots without a chaserrrrrrrr I'm updating my LJ from class, hahaha. Well, My summer thus far has been busy but not as fun as others; school and work and more school and other work. (I literally had a 3 day summer vacation and saw like 2 of my friends). But I was productive! I'll graduate a year early, which is exciiiting, and I made some dollars $$. I'm running a half marathon a Disneyland monday, in which I'm totally taking the slower run time to stop and take pictures with all the characters! I'm also, hopefully, buying a sweet condo in a really nice neighborhood in Santee. The buyer accepted the offer today, so as soon as the bank accepts it (hopefully, short-sale) that gorgeous pool, maple cabinates, and granite countertops are all miiineee.. Other than that I'm just busy busy running and working and schooling and it doesn't look as though it will let up anytime soon. <3 Current Mood: peaceful (1 Comment |Comment on this)

9:15 pm	how can i be satisfied when everythign is overated? haha ok so updating my LJ 3X in one day IS pretty crazy... but i guess class is just mad booooriinnggg! I'm training for a half marathon at D-Land!! (our 2nd home..) in september so my legs hurt crazy bad and after I run I get really high and think I'm upside down and forget people's names and stuff.. hahah. At least I've lost like a zillion pounds haha. I was running out the cliffs today and part of them fell off.. it was so crazy, it's all over the news. There was just this HUGE pile of cliff all over the rocks below. The runner's path where I jogged yesterday isn't even there anymore!! I'm also addicted to making super gourmet healthy meals from KPBS' sat morning cooking shows and sam the cooking guy (on channel 4 after the games and randomly). I SO hate school, but can't wait for summer and the rest of my friends to come home and also my bunny is way cute and hoping around and my kitty is shaved and kinda annoying but still adorable. 8:55 am	School makes me want to drink vodkaaa at 855 AM, but then I couldn't drive home and get the hell out of heeereee! If anyone wants to come on a hot date to donate blood at Sunset View on May 3rd (Thursday) around noonish hit me up! Going to D-land every few weeks kinda ruins the real world. And I can't wait until this quarter is over (in mid june.. so unfair!) so I have time to get more tattoos.. and all my friends will be home!! 5:28 pm	AWESOME: 1 hr early enterance to the park for being a hotel guest and getting the "live your dream fastpass" = a fastpass for every ride in both parks. We went on 16 rides before 1PM, when the lockers broke... SUCKY: Having the lockers break and being told you can't get your stuff back for hours, and you won't even get a refund! 5:28 pm	paaain for pleaure (meooow me meow meowwwww) So Disneyland is really where dreams come true.. This has been this best week ever, and it doesn't even end until sunday.. The pool has a pirateous water slide, we've dined with goofy and friends nearly every day, the steakhouse is even better than wolfgang puck, pirates and haunted mansion have no wait late at night, I actually got to see Sunita, the room is so decadently decorated with mickey and friends... I wish I never had to go back to the real world of work and school. I'm so excited to graduate next year and then from grad school the year after and be able to be a real person.. like a 100% adult. I am so luck to have a good friend like Skot take care of my house and my sweet pets, and a nice boyfriend to share this trip with. Getting hit with a car and having 2-3 years of my life completely ruined was really hard- it prevented me from doing pretty much everything imaginable. But this vacation has almost made up for all of that horror- so thank you Todd Falk- you divorced, unemployed, 3Xdrunk driving accident causing, broke and in debt, being sued for child support, father who neglects his children; for totaling my car and ruining 2-3 years of my life so that I could afford this vacation. I only wish that Mark could have been here more than anything, as he is the only reason I even graduated after all that happened, but we will come back over summer or in the fall (at least he isn't in Japan with all the earthquake madness!!) 10:43 am	I have a midterm in 1 hout and 17 minutes, so I am updating my livejournal?!?!?! Well, what's cool theese days? I'm graduating UCSD next year (!!) And I'll have my teaching credential and master's degree in education the year after. This makes me entirely too happy because I genuinely despise that place, and never being able to park, and classes with 300 people in them with teachers that take an hour to give you the information that could be taught in 15 minutes. I got new furniture, which is awesome because it isn't falling apart. What else.. Mark is comming home from Japan, YAY! Other than that, it seems like its either extremely cold or hor lately, and it hasn't snowed in Julian yet this year (!!!) which makes me SO mad.. OH and I'm going to DISNEYLAND for a week over spring break which is AWESOME and I'm totally excited! I'm going to go stuuddyyyyy... Current Mood: tired (4 Comments |Comment on this)

6:34 pm	I am updating my livejournal to procrastinate from memorising. I have finished my paper on what the United States should do to prevent Syria and Iran from meddeling with the insurgency in Iraq or supporting transnational terrorist organizations while surviving off of coffee, bree, and crackers. Now I will go listen to bullshit presentations about bullshit bilingual education bullshit for three bullshit hours. Then I will memorize my 65 paragraphs about the cold war, military doctrine, and national security strategies for my final tomorrow. Then I will write my bullshit bilingual education paper for my bullshit bilingual education class. Then I will study about CA govt and politics for my final on thursday. I kinda fucked myself by not doing any studying since miderms? And never going to one of my classes? It's cool, I can pull it of and still Rock A's. And friday I am going to sleep sleep, be lazy, see my friends, work out, and recover from the severe caffeine addiction that I am currently building. The fucking incompitant "service techs" at Sprint deleted ALL of my numbers when there was nothing wrong with my phone and they weren't supposed to do anything to it at all. 2:38 am	So... Life is good, except that my ankle hurts so there is an ice pack on it that is dripping water all over me and the couch. Del Mar Fair was fun... we rode all the scary rides and ate a bunch of food and took funny western pictures (future christmas cards, of course). (I still missed maggie though). Seeing my friends from far away is good, except that they always leave for far away again so fast! Oh well, at least they all sound like they're haveing a great time. Other than that I just sleep and play softball and socialize and go to boring easy summer school and work and pet my kitty, so life is good! I might try to visit the east coast at the end of the summer, or I might save that for next year, depending on softball stuff. I miss real cable, but fake cable is better than no cable! oooh, KPBS... I think I'm insane because I just got back from the gym and I'm half asleep and the TV is creeepy.. But I moved into a bigger house with a yard and a real room and parking and a garden and so much more space! I feel so lucky to be out of my box... 8:14 pm	ouuuch im so fucking broken. I've had a really bad muscle strain from the gym so I haven't been able to walk/work out. ...last night= 7+ hours in the E.R. last night for a stomach ulcer or virus... they were about to check me out but then i had a 102 temperature and my whole body ached like fuck.. so they were like "ohhh, we think you have the flu... lets do 4085 more annoying tests on you even though we already gave you like a thousand tests, including a fucking pelvic exam." so... at least they gave me drugs that make me feel a little bit better, but i still feel like i want to die. i can't wait until my friends get home from school this summer though <3 Current Mood: DEAD =( (5 Comments |Comment on this)
